Valentine Healthcare is a mixed billing practice.
Children under 16 are bulk billed for standard consultations. Most other consultations are privately billed, with your Medicare rebate processed on the day and usually paid back into your bank account within 24–48 hours. Discounted fees are available for eligible aged pensioners, Health Care Card holders and DVA patients — just let our reception team know when you book.

- 01Standard GP consultFrom $82 for a standard consultation (5–25 minutes), with a Medicare rebate of $21 — about $61 out of pocket. Your rebate is paid straight back to you, usually within 24–48 hours.
- 02Fast Medicare rebatesProcessed electronically and usually paid into your account within 24–48 hours.
- 03Discounted feesAvailable for aged pensioners, Health Care Card holders and DVA patients.

Absolutely. Our team includes both male and female GPs. You can choose your preferred doctor when booking, and reception can help match you if it matters for the reason for your visit.
Yes. Telehealth phone consultations are available for eligible patients, including script renewals, follow-ups and mental health check-ins. Book online and select “Telehealth” as your appointment type.
Your doctor will review every result personally. Reception will call if follow-up is needed. If it has been a while and you have not heard back, give us a ring — we are happy to check.
