Valentine Healthcare is a mixed billing practice.
Most consultations are privately billed, with your Medicare rebate paid straight back into your bank account on the day. Discounted fees are available for eligible aged pensioners, Health Care Card holders and DVA patients — just let our reception team know when you book.

Yes — we welcome new patients from Valentine, Eleebana, Warners Bay, Belmont and across the Lake Macquarie region. First appointments are usually a little longer so we can get to know you properly.
Absolutely. Our team includes both male and female GPs. You can choose your preferred doctor when booking, and reception can help match you if it matters for the reason for your visit.
Yes. Telehealth phone consultations are available for eligible patients, including script renewals, follow-ups and mental health check-ins. Book online and select “Telehealth” as your appointment type.
Your doctor will review every result personally. Reception will call if follow-up is needed. If it has been a while and you have not heard back, give us a ring — we are happy to check.
