Worker's Compensation Advisory Sessions
WorkCover-approved rates are used for
billing for consultations related to workers’
compensation.
You can provide the necessary billing details
(such as an authorisation number and
insurance company name) during the
appointment. It is the patient’s responsibility
to pay upfront for worker cover certification,
which may be claimable from your
insurance company, depending on your
policy and claim approval. Our doctors will
bill the insurance company for any additional
reports and case conferences if needed.
Please note that standard consultations are
not billed to the insurance company and must
be paid on the day of the consultation.
You can get your employer to pay for the consultation cost if you don’t have a claim number and instead use AMA (Australian Medical Association) rates. When making an appointment, please specify if you need a session for workers’ comp or a session with a third party.
Consultations related to Worker’s Compensation or Third Party matters are not eligible for the Medicare rebate.
